Project Overview
Returning to the Melbourne Market’s facility in Epping, VIC, Oomiak was excited to undertake works on the Tenancy 51 and 105 cooling systems.
The Melbourne Market engaged Oomiak to help facilitate a refrigeration solution that would create:
Tenancy 51: Looking to convert what was then a café into a new single-room tenancy.
Tenancy 105: Converting the existing space into a new single room tenancy.
Building a strong rapport with the Melbourne Market team and a familiarity with their site, we were well-equipped to execute these projects. The project follows a similar build to that of large single-zone tenancies within the Epping site – some key features of the projects are:
- Under-ceiling air cooler
- Pump skid
- Associated valves and controls for correct operation and maintenance of equipment
Using a PHE skid, the tenancies are connected to the central cooling system that oversees the other tenancies in the Melbourne Market’s site.
The solution we provided left all parties happy and we were ecstatic with the result – great work to all involved!
