Oomiak completed a project for Goodman Fielder Baking in Adelaide to replace their ageing chilled water and glycol systems. The new centralised system is providing improved efficiency, reliability and importantly consistent supply of low temperature chilled water to the bakery mixers.
The key objectives for the project included;
- Maintain critical temperatures and flow rates at bakery mixers
- Ease of service access
- Optimum reliability
- Acceptable level of redundancy
- Need to maintain bakery production during the installation period
Oomiak designed, installed and commissioned the new system. Given the demands from the bakery, the installation of the new system had to be done within a very tight time frame and with no interruptions to business.
